Reports, newsletters, and miscellaneous print and near-print items of or about St. Peter State Hospital and its successor, the Minnesota/St. Peter Regional Treatment Center, and adjunct facility, the Minnesota Security Hospital. The records cover all aspects of the hospital's duties and activities, including the hospital's history and status as the state's oldest hospital for the mentally ill, incidents, quality assurance, staff, volunteers, employee accidents, the Intensive Treatment Program for Sexual Aggressives, industrial and occupational therapy, employee and patient surveys, nurses, chemical dependency treatment, 125th anniversary celebration, and abuse prevention. Included in the records are annual (1979-FY1988) and quarterly (1991-1999) statistical reports, a hospital library scrapbook (1946?), various by laws and regulations, former employee oral histories (1995), and strategic plans (1995-1997).
